Academic Success
Our Clubs provide strong academic mentorship and enrichment activities that promote skill building, confidence, and a love of learning in a safe, supportive, and innovative environment. Every day at the Club, our skilled and caring staff provide the guidance and encouragement that young people need to progress grades annually and graduate from high school with a plan for the future.
Great Character
Throughout the year, Club members of all ages participate in community service and leadership programs. These programs build their skills and teach them they have the power to positively make change in our community. Members learn to sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and other’s cultural identities. By the time they leave the Club at age 18, youth are on a pathway to success.
Healthy Lifestyles
Every day at the Club, we provide nutritious snacks & Meals, fun, engaging fitness activities, and competitive sports. Club Members are excited about leading healthy lifestyles. Also, we teach youth how to nurture their own well-being, resist the negative influence of substance use & abuse, and stand up to peer pressure. We help them grow into happy and healthy adults.
Creative Expression
Our arts programs enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness. Through our connection to the Sonoma County Arts community, Club members have unique access to a number of creative arts opportunities: visual & performing arts, creative writing, music, crafts and more! From showcasing their artwork in local art shows to taking Ballet Folklórico dance classes, our Club members can learn valuable new skills while enhancing their confidence and self-expression.
Our Formula for Impact
Boys & Girls Clubs of America has established a Great Futures Vision for our Movement. We aim to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors. To see this vision become a reality, we have developed the Formula for Impact, a research-based theory of change that describes how we will increase our impact - exponentially - on the young people we serve.
