Winter Basketball League
(Grades 3-12)
REGISTRATION: Open 10/1/2024 until full. Space is limited. Late registrants are not guaranteed a spot on a team.

7th/8th Grade – Wed, Jan 8, 6:00-7:00 PM
5th/6th Grade – Thurs, Jan 9, 6:00-7:00 PM
4th Grade – Fri, Jan 10, 5:30-6:30 PM
3rd Grade – Mon, Jan 13, 5:30-6:30 PM
9th-12th Grade – Tues, Jan 14, 6:00-7:00 PM
SEASON DATES: 1/20/2025 - 3/22/2025
SCHEDULE: Teams play twice per week: one weekday evening practice and one Saturday practice or game.
LOCATION: All games and practices take place in Petaluma at Cavanagh Recreation Center or Lucchesi Park Clubhouse.
LEVEL: This is a recreational league. Players of all levels of experience are welcome to play.
GENDER: Co-Ed
TEAM FORMATION: In an effort to make teams as fair as possible, teams are formed by evaluation and draft.
COST: $175 (jersey included)
Beginner's Basketball Clinic
(3rd-6th Grade)
DESCRIPTION: This clinic is designed for players in grades 3-6 who would like the opportunity to practice mastering basketball fundamentals in a low-pressure environment with supportive coaching staff. This clinic is a once per week commitment.
REGISTRATION: Open 10/1/2024 until full. Space is limited to 20 players.
SCHEDULE: Once per week on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM.
DATES: 1/28/2025 - 3/11/2025
LOCATION: Lucchesi Park Clubhouse in Petaluma
LEVEL: This clinic is open to beginners as well as players with prior basketball experience who could benefit from the opportunity to work on their basketball fundamentals.
GENDER: Co-Ed
COST: $125
Intermediate Level Basketball Clinic
(5th-8th grade)
DESCRIPTION: Is your grade 5-8 player ready to take their game to the next level? This is a fast-moving clinic, full of gamified drills appealing to players who have already mastered basic basketball skills. Players in this clinic should have some prior basketball experience and should already be familiar with the rules of basketball.
REGISTRATION: Open 10/1/2024 until full. Clinic limited to a maximum of 20 players.
SCHEDULE: Once per week on Tuesdays from 7-8 PM.
DATES: 1/29/2025 - 3/12/2025 (no clinic 2/18)
LOCATION: Lucchesi Park Clubhouse in Petaluma
LEVEL: This clinic is open to players who have a good handle on basketball fundamentals (dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defending) and a basic understanding of the rules of play.
GENDER: Co-Ed
COST: $125
Winter Indoor Soccer Clinic
(2nd-8th Grade)
DESCRIPTION: This clinic is designed for players of any gender and any level of experience, including beginners. Players will get a fantastic workout each practice, while receiving coaching on their soccer fundamentals and learning the rules of our futsal-style indoor soccer program. These clinics offer excellent preparation for our spring league.
REGISTRATION: Open 10/1/2024 until full. Space is limited to 20 players per clinic.
SCHEDULE: Once per week on Monday evenings.
